With 18,000 students from 130 countries, the University of Exeter is a world-class leader in Higher Education. Exeter was voted the Sunday Times University of the Year 2012/13. It is ranked amongst the UK’s top 10 universities in the Higher Education league tables produced by the Times, the Guardian and the Sunday Times.
Excite were asked at short notice to produce a video for the University of Exeter’s Strategy and Security Institute, promoting their MA course in Applied Security Strategy. Our brief was to film students as they prepared for a week of course presentations to partners, mentors and course moderators. The final video would need to illustrate the uniqueness of this particular course whilst highlighting its value to the future careers of participating students.
How did Excite Help?
Excite filmed a series of interviews with the students to get meaningful soundbites from them that would meet the brief and promote the depth and breadth of the learning experience, the level of expertise that had been available to students from mentors during the course and the benefits that the course will have upon their careers.
This project had a fast turnaround and has been placed on the home page of the Strategy and Security Institute’s website as part of their student recruitment program.
